Water Village, a photography-based abstract art piece envisioned on 30″ x 30″ gallery-wrapped canvas. This original piece is based on my work in and around Pacific City, Oregon – the Nestucca river and bay. It took me a while to find a vision that satisfied me… I started out with very traditional (for me) black and white work but it just didn’t hold enough interest so I ended up with something closer to sepia toning, although this is my own special touch. I may do something with the more stark tones at a later time. This seems like a collectible piece in its own right, however.
The only thing permanent about life is change. We just need to learn to deal with it.
